Definition Of A Marriage

One of Webster’s definitions of a marriage is this:" The social institution whereby men and women are joined in a special kind of social and legal dependence for the purpose of founding and maintaining a family.” That works for me. I am in favor of a federal law or constitutional amendment that defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman. If this issue should come up during my tenure, I would promote it and work toward that goal. However, in this time of economic crisis, it is not one of many top priorities.
